Dr Elizabeth Robertson completed post-graduate medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2006. Prior to this she completed an honours degree in biomedical science at the University of Newcastle (Aus) with a focus on molecular biochemistry. Dr Robertson has subsequently completed her post-graduate specialist training in cardiology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

During her training, Dr Robertson has had ongoing involvement in research with the Sydney Marfan and Aortic service under the supervision of Professor Richmond Jeremy. She is currently completing her PhD in medicine, with the aim of further characterising the molecular mechanisms that underlie the inherited aortic disease.
